Van Elsacker Racing Pigeons Origin

Origin of the Van Elsacker Racing Pigeons Start

We have selected our stock birds aroung "DE 23" line down from De Wezel....

The advance for Van Elsacker pigeons started in the early eighties after the purchase of a late youngster at RenĂ© Michielsen’s. Serge went home with "De Wezel" (B81-6603197), a Meulemans pigeon that appeared to be a super breeder. Nearly every single one of his sons were first prize winners and one of them was even better as a breeder compared to his brothers and even to his own father. “De Wezel” was coupled with "Blauwke Stoces" (B78-6226371) and they produced "Den 23" (B84-6336723) in 1984, the perfect n° 1 progenitor of the Van Elsacker colony.

Among "Den 23" direct offspring there are six Ace Pigeon in Union Antwerp, two Olympiad pigeons and the 1st National Ace Pigeon BDS in 1988. "Den 23" produced particularly excellent offspring when he was coupled with "Het Bourgeske"(B84-6336708), which is also a Meulemans pigeon.

No loft in Belgium has flown better at the middle distance in that time than Van Elsacker. He has a phenomenal family of middle-distance racers. We have been able to secure the very best pigeons to stock in our loft. There is no doubt these pigeons have been impact birds how they have dominated our unbelievable performance in recent years.

These pigeons are Meuleman based with Janssen and Hofken. There are no better pigeons for the 300 mile races than the Van Elsacker birds.
